Nikita Miezhenski, a product designer for AI startups. I find where new users get stuck before the aha moment and fix it in 2 weeks

About
I take a business process or a product idea and turn it into a working prototype that users can test; one core flow takes about two weeks. AI coding agents write most of the code. I make the product decisions and check every screen by hand.
At FSK Group I work on a contractor portal that more than 1,000 companies use. I also built a quiz funnel for Nadezhda Morozova, a nutritionist.
More about me. Starts with one free working screen and a 2-week Aha Sprint, then a contract or a full-time role.
Work
- Nutrition quiz funnel: 8 leads and 2 paying clients, about $1,000, from the first 73 visitors.
- Alloy (Contract): Setup as a chat that ends with a working agent. The CEO and the CPO liked it.
- Atrium (Open source): A working product in seven days, and my friends moved in. Then I checked who else needed it.
- Basetalk (Hackathon): Our team took 2nd overall at a Russian national hackathon final (300+ finalists). Now runs at Zunami on local models.
Hackathons and side projects
- LineGuard AI (Hackathon): 1st in a regional round of a Russian national hackathon, built in 3.5 days.
- Sequence (Side project): Worked end to end. Closed when Figma shipped Motion.
- Allo (Pet project): Launched in Telegram. About ten users, most of them friends.
- Plantify (Course project): Eight interviews cut the two top-scored features from the MVP.

Writing
- Where new users get stuck before the aha moment: Five products, five places the first task fell apart, and the two weeks I spend finding the sixth. 2026-11-03
- A quiz funnel for a nutritionist: 8 leads and 2 clients from 73 visitors: What I built for an Instagram practice, what the first month showed and where people drop off now. 2026-11-03
- Onboarding an AI agent platform as a chat with its own assistant: Why I turned down a guided tour for Alloy, what the conversation asks, and what I learned when the restyle got taken apart. 2026-11-03
- Seven days to build, thirteen interviews to stop: Atrium: a self-hosted voice and chat app, designed by me, built by Claude Code agents, closed on the data. 2026-11-03
- How I design and build with AI coding agents: Agents write most of the code. I make the product decisions and check every screen by hand. What that looks like across four products. 2026-11-03
- Ask the database in plain language, then show your work: Basetalk: how a text-to-SQL assistant earns a manager’s trust, and where it should hand over to a person. 2026-11-03
- In a tool that hunts for faults, the review screen carries the product: LineGuard AI: computer vision for power line inspection, designed in three and a half days. 2026-11-03
- Eight interviews cut the two top-scored features from the MVP: Plantify: how a scored list of twenty hypotheses lost its top two to the people it was for. 2026-11-03
- Sequence: a Figma plugin that animated a frame into an MP4, and why I closed it: Most of the work was reading the designer’s file correctly. The renderer was the smaller part. 2026-11-03
- Allo: video calls inside Telegram, and what the waiting screen taught me: A pet project with one teammate, about ten users, and one screen that carried the product. 2026-11-03
- The top line is booked consultations: What sits at the top of the monthly report. 2026-09-25
- Result first, phone number second: How the nutrition quiz is ordered, and why. 2026-09-25
- One experiment a month on small traffic: Why the subscription changes one thing at a time. 2026-09-25
